Online communities are internet based communication tools that allow users to communicate within the group about their common shared interest. They allow the users of that community to post ideas, ask questions, and get responses to their ideas and questions. These communities are available in several formats. Bulletin boards, listservs and chat rooms are the most common venues of these internet communities.
